Weekend challenge: run your Bitcoin lottery-mining odds before you buy or tune

A simple weekend prompt for Bitaxe, NerdMiner, and small solo miners: compare the real odds before chasing the next upgrade.

The weekend itch is real: push the Bitaxe a little harder, buy a second board, try a NerdMiner, swap pools, add a fan, chase one more terahash.

Before doing any of that, run the odds once.

I made a quick weekend challenge page for small Bitcoin miners:

The challenge is simple:

1. Enter your real hashrate, watts, power cost, hardware cost, BTC price, and current difficulty.

2. Save the yearly chance, expected time, annual net EV, and hardware payback.

3. Change one thing: more hashrate, lower watts, a second board, a better fan, or a different miner.

4. Ask whether the upgrade actually moved the odds enough to matter.

This is not meant to kill the hobby. It is meant to keep the hobby honest.
